Governor Declares Linda Christenson Day!!

Thank you all for acknowledging my landmark year. I must clear something up: I am 4'10" tall 97 lbs. I have accepted that i will never be a runway fashion model and that i will always have to ask for help reaching stuff on the higher shelves in the grocery store. Here is what i tell myself: you got yer thoroughbred race horses and greyhounds and you got yer beagles and shetland ponies--the latter are not beautiful but they're cuddly :D

I was short growing up and my Dad asked me, "Would you rather be short, or stupid?"  That pretty much put an end to my whining.

Hi Linda - guess I'm very late to this party.  I wasn't until I was finishing your wonderful book, "Princess Kay & Me", that I realized the Minn Gov had proclaimed a "Linda Christeson Day."  And I just now found this post.  Amazing, and well-earned and deserved.  
You are truly a wonder, a special lady, a Minnesota treasure ... a keeper (pronounced Keep-ah), as we say up in Maine.  Beautiful and cuddly !!!!
