Lizard Brain
#deepadaption

There was a Woman
I knew
Who taught Snake Charming
She was raised a Spiritist
Making her an expert
On Mediumship
And the possessive impulse
If you can put the reptile to sleep
She sd
You wake up your true potential
I disagree
I sd
Because the tickle
At the base of spine
 The preemptive Kundalini
STRIKE
Once bitten
The Living Poison
Never--Ever
Leaves
Who else?
I ask’d
Can bask beneath
The Sun’s Sovereignty
Its empire growing
Degree by Degree
Who but
The Dragon
The Ox
The Serpent
Will remind us
We are Born From
And To
A Manifestation of
IT
All

a nice discourse with the Yoga concept of Kundalini, wonderfully written and eye grabbing... a meditation.  thanks

Almost seems like there should be a closing line, to the effect of "so there!", but far be it from me to so recommend. I find myself leaning into the conclusion, so I think you have it wonderfully right. Cheers.

And I keep in mind the last words, especially the IT: Freud's Id and the Kabbalah's It. And the poem looks like a spine.  MArcel

Thanks all! MArcel, yes I was a QBLHist for a time so, indeed... err hem. And the poem was not what I intended to write, or the conclusion what was expected, rather 'it' demanded from a completely unexpected direction. So Tracy, I like 'lean in' because at first, the conclusion was, weak, and the piece demanded a change --- Final? I do not know;-)
