Hi Mark
A very beautiful and intense poem that captures the spirit and profundity of beauty. Thanks

This is beautiful. These struck me the most, at first

green with velvet lavender and plumbago blue,
shaded bouquets unfolding the first scents of dew

I love gardening and the beautiful gardens in South Africa, which is my home country. These two lines pull on all the senses making the reader "experience" being in the scene.

I read it a few times and it's all very vivid and has a tactile feel to it.

Thanks for reading and kind comments, Daryl, Dave & Bev. I'm glad you enjoyed the piece.
Daryl, it's great to see you back in the mix after your sabbatical. Nice to see you posting again, Dave. And Bev - another blerrie Saffa - who let you in?
