I'm still around, but haven't been feeling very poetic lately.  Quite a bit of other stuff going on.

The neighbour's dog is so damned wet
he doesn't even bark,
and the rain-sodden finches in the tree
are building a bloody ark.

My Muse has gone canoeing
slaloming through the weeds
she sometimes throws a slippery word
which I fumble to catch.

It seems that people are not finding it easy to write poetr yin the current circumstances and yet like all the arts we need it more than ever. I am grateful that at least there are now five names on  that lise, Colm.

From my experience they appear to more troubled by Covid than men are.
And it seems to affect their Muses too
I'm not being facetious btw.

You could be on to something there. From what I've seen, women do seem to be more troubled by the social restrictions than men are.
