Glad to see you back Mark---and with another of your signature quatrains. Intriguing as usual. However, I love your work most when its filled with the fab imagery you often summon up.

Nice word-play Mark.  The line-ending near rhymes are nice.  They would be made better with a metre pattern to the lines.  While they appear of similar length, the syllable count keeps expanding.
