I didn't notice much background noise...maybe that's my tinnitus 
I always enjoy your ability to observe and capture 'characters'; these are people others see...but don't have the artist's eye, or don't have (or want) the ability to see beyond their own noses. I know so many people like them; in a conversation they'll rarely ask me a question...they just tell me things about themselves
