Re: There is a Planet Out There Where it Rains Glass
Wonderfully written and illustrates well the difference between the 'dry' experimentation of the last two poems. This reveals the potential that poetry has to engage intellect and emotions.

That goes without saying.

Fab poem Tim. A wonderful example of the power of showing (as opposed to telling).
It's a real treat.
I hope you weren't setting us up for this by throwing in a few 'experimental' poems...and then WHAM, hit us with this curved ball
Either way, thanks for posting this.
I wonder if your two previous poems were more 'keeping the pen going', as opposed to being experimental...just trying to build (or even maintain) momentum!
Poems of this calibre inspire us all to step up our game, they remind us all to try a little harder.

Read this last night Tim and saw Indar's 'stunning' comment, which was my initial response. On reflection, it still is!

Nope. Not good enough to set anyone up. I'm happy people seem to like this one, but if anything, recent conversations have deterred me from posting my third "she said/he said" attempt. I won't die or anything but to me it's kind of a wimpish shame. And it will probably deter me from posting anything else that might seem out of ordinary.
