I finally stumbled over...

As usual, I'm late to the party. Actually, that's not true, I am usually early everywhere I go. Especially to parties. But I have been neglecting my poetess responsibilities and inclinations for several months now. (A year, you say?) I intend to remedy that, but this is the season where I am gone a lot doing horsey/doggy things, so I may not be a bona fide on-board regular until mid-March.

I haven't formally studied poetry and have little to offer in that regard. My ditties are excruciatingly personal, as the holdovers will tell you. I simply enjoy writing for that incredibly satisfying feeling you get when what's in your head-heart-experience plops onto paper and actually captures that thing. Well, you know.

I look forward to reading, critiquing and writing in this glorious new venue.
