Yes. I can't believe it, but I did. A rowdy little Rebel Song.
Well, not the music, but only the lyrics. My friend Michael wrote the music, and worked his magic in his studio.
He sang the lead vocals. I did backing vocals.
And to think I usually sing art songs, arias, cantatas, and the likes...
This was way out of my comfort zone, but so much fun to do!

Wow, Dan. That's pretty damn good!
A great promo for the novel...you're becoming the dragon, released after a lifetime of bondage

I like it, Dan. Good to see you 'pushing the envelope'.

Fun... This is the 'secret ingredient' which some of the more serious poets seem to lack, or are perhaps reluctant to admit to feeling.

Thanks, Colm and Gyppo.
Yes, I guess I am becoming the dragon, eh? At least I'm spreading my wings.
And yes, fun is a necessary part of being a writer. No matter what you write -- poetry, shorts, novels, plays -- if you can't have fun doing it, then you're doing it wrong and might as well stop. At least, that's my take on it.

Marvelously creative, and presumably lots of fun.
